Please join the Old Hutcroo Association for Fallfest 2023. Whether you’re local or haven’t been to the White Mountains in years, we hope you’ll join.
Highlights of this year’s program include an afternoon field trip to various Old-Man-related sites in Franconia Notch, a feature presentation from Brian Fowler marking the Old Man’s 20th anniversary, and the chance to hear from new AMC CEO Nicole Zussman.

Brian’s field trip:
Meet at 2:00 PM at the Old Man of The Mountain Historic Site in Franconia Notch State Park. Take I-93 to Exit 34B and follow the Historic Site signs to the parking lot.
The trip will introduce everyone to the Historic Site and the Old Man Memorial and will update attendees as to recent and ongoing activities related to 3D mapping and rockfall study on Cannon Cliff and the activities of the Old Man Legacy Fund in the north-central part of the Notch. The field trip will end at or close to 3:30 PM so everyone can get to the Highland Center in time for Happy Hour beginning at 4:30 PM.
Please wear moisture-resistant light-hiking footwear (no canvas sneakers, sandals, or flip-flops), wear field clothing, and bring a small daypack with extra outer clothing as may be appropriate for that day’s weather in Franconia Notch. The total hiking/walking mileage will be ~ 1 mile on largely paved pathways.
